Marketing for clinic owners has changed over the last decade or so. It used to just take a newspaper ad and a few thousand mailers to get the phone to ring. These days, however, the game has changed–significantly. Learning the ins and outs of digital marketing can seem overwhelming and intimidating to dive into, but it doesn’t have to be.

Landing pages are sites that are separate from your business’s homepage designed for a specific purpose. Usually, the purpose is to prompt the visitor to take an action such as buying a product or, in the audiology world, book an appointment for a hearing test.

How can a Landing Page increase your conversion rate?

Most people think that increasing traffic to their website with Google or Social Media ads will help them book more appointments. It certainly does not hurt to have visitors to your website but your website is typically designed to give the visitor information about your company, products, services, operating hours, testimonials, and maybe a section to book an appointment.

While that is useful information and an absolute necessity in today’s market, it gives the visitor too many things to do. The landing page has only one goal and only one thing for the visitor to do–book the appointment.

What makes an effective Landing Page?

Simplicity is the key. That doesn’t mean your landing page has to be boring, but it does need to be free of distractions like a navigation bar that could take them away from the goal. 

Keep the same messaging and tone from the ad that brought them there to prevent confusion and drive the visitor to the conversion by emphasizing the offer’s value.

Booking an appointment from a Landing Page

 If your office management system has the capability to book online appointments (like amplifyoms), your landing page should direct the visitor to book an appointment directly to your schedule. For all others, a contact form is typically used.

Your contact form should only require the least amount of information from the visitor to achieve the highest conversion rate. Also consider changing the default “submit” button to something more beneficial like, “Book Your Free Hearing Test.” 

Are there any tools or services that can help you create Landing Pages quickly and easily?

There are dozens of tools and services that you can subscribe to that will provide the software and guidance needed to start building your landing pages. This will give your landing pages the professional look and desired outcome. However, it typically requires a subscription fee for a service that may not be used enough to justify the cost.

 For those that want to connect their landing pages to funnels for an even higher conversion rate, choosing a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) like amplifyCRM PRO that includes landing pages, funnels, analytics, social media, and a lot more would be a better option and more cost effective.
